144 = 12 x 12 .... if 144 were taken as 'hours', then this would be six days
1440 = 120 x 12.... and 1440 taken as 'minutes', then this would be one day ... and etc.
14400 = 120 x 120 ... as minutes, this is 10 days...
144000 = 1200 x 120 ... as minutes, this is 100 days!
1440000 = 1200 x 1200 ... as minutes, this is 1000 days...

The Meta.Chi

eYes are peering as my Pen
Shakes and the ink is Spearing
whispered words I'm hearing
from the air.

This quiet is the Guardian Way
subtle Company names the Day
and all Robes read....

"...speak what we feel,
knot what ought to be said...."

I heard the Stations appear
in my head...

One by one I write to see
Then. In the Meta.Chi.

The Mayan Numbers Compared

Yes, the promise came.
Happy bday to us both.

~if the Maya are Vigesimal, then why would a dot be translated as 01? Rather then as two? which in binary looks like '10'
Do you know More.is? ;) lol!

BECAUSE, IF the dots were actually 20s, then we'd have this...

and the dots would make sense as 20s because 20 x 13 = 260 Tzolkin and 20 x 18 = 360 Tun is the logic of their math.

On a side note, the Morse code equivalent, looks like this...

. _ _ _ _ 1 1 _ _ _ _ .
.. _ _ _ 2 2 _ _ _ ..
... _ _ 3 3 _ _ ...
.... _ 4 4 _ ....
..... 5 5 .....
_ .... 6 6 .... _
_ _ ...7 7... _ _
_ _ _ ..8 8.. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ .9 9. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ 0 0 _ _ _ _ _

* this is my own observation and may not agree with known scholarly information regarding Maya and Morse code. I don't believe this is supported anywhere but... I find it reasonable.

360 / 5 = 72 x 26000 = 1872000
3600 / 5 = 720 x 2600 = 1872000
36000 / 5 = 7200 x 260 = 1872000
1872000 / 1300 = 1440
26000 / 5 = 52
00 x 360 = 1872000
2600 / 5 = 520 x 3600 = 1872000
260 / 5 = 52 x 36000 = 1872000
260 / 4 = 65

90 + 65 = 155 x 1200 = 186O0o !ight! smiles per the 'second'

1 thru 13 are 91 'steps' x 4 'sides' = 364 'steps' (Pyramid, Chichen Itza)
2 thru 13 are 90 'degree' perhaps. x 4 = 360 also known as a Mayan Tun (20 x 18)

We already know...

60 seconds = 1 minute
3600 seconds = 1 hour
60 minutes = 1 hour
3600 minutes = 60 hours

24 hours = 1 day
1440 minutes = 1 day
86400 seconds = 1 day

Here's something we might not always pay attention to... in a minute kind of way...

24 hours = 1440 minutes, that means
12 hours = 720 minutes, that means
6 hours = 360 minutes.

Mayan Tun is 360 days.
Mayan Katun is 7200 days
Mayan Baktun is 144000 days

Mayan Long Count Traditional:

Kin = 1 x 20 = 20
Uinal = 20 x 18 = 360
Tun = 360 x 20 = 7200
Katun = 7200 x 20 = 144000
Baktun = 144000 x 13 = 1872000 days, which is 5125 years, which is recorded as 'ending date'
December 12, 2012

...to.be.continued.2013 ...

We use the number 360 as 'degree', as one 'circle'...
But on the clock, 360 is used to represent 6 hours, one quarter.

That means...
6 hours = 1 quarter of a day = 360 minutes
6 hours = 2nd quarter = 360 minutes
6 hours = 3rd quarter = 360 minutes
6 hours = 4th quarter = 360 minutes
==========================
24 hours in a day = 1440 minutes.
