~if the Maya are Vigesimal, then why would a dot be translated as 01? Rather then as two? which in binary looks like '10'

BECAUSE, IF the dots were actually 20s, then we'd have this...
and the dots would make sense as 20s because 20 x 13 = 260 Tzolkin and 20 x 18 = 360 Tun is the logic of their math.

* this is my own observation and may not agree with known scholarly information regarding Maya and Morse code. I don't believe this is supported anywhere but... I find it reasonable.
